Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with transport vendors and carriers
- Drive vendor performance through structured governance, KPI management, and performance reviews
- Lead contract negotiations and support sourcing activities to optimise cost and service outcomes
- Partner closely with Operations, Transport, Procurement, Finance, and Customers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor transport capacity and identify opportunities to strengthen network resilience
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
- Drive compliance with safety, legal, sustainability, and DHL operational standards
- Analyse transport performance data and provide actionable business insights
- Lead vendor escalation management and resolution of service issues
- Identify innovative solutions and best practices that support our growth ambitions
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years proven experience in transportation, logistics, vendor management, carrier management, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Minimum 5 years experience managing external partners and service providers in Malaysia
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tender and bidding management in transport operations for Malaysia
