VET Business Development Manager is to drive accelerated growth in the Veterinary Business Pillar by achieving strategic goals through making direct calls on Veterinary Clinics and identifying opportunities which develop new business embarking on the health through nutrition journey.
Job Responsibilities
- Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory by utilizing strong selling skills while developing and understanding customer needs to increase growth of sales.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key individuals within the clinics and continue to identify new potential clinics and set strategies to align customers for recommending Royal Canin's product as their primary therapeutic diet for their clients/patients.
- Collaborate with team members and other associates to provide valuable contributions to the company and provide customer insights for further business partnership enhancement.
- Attend and participate in trade shows, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required.
- Complete weekly activity, expense, and other ad-hoc reporting as needed by Line Manager.
- Develop sustained collaborative relationship with customer through identifying business opportunities via increase product distribution.
- Accelerate sales growth and deliver KPI which contributes to overall growth of the Company.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business studies/administration/management, Commerce, Food Technology/ Nutrition/ Dietetics or equivalent
- Experience working with leading pharmaceutical companies or within Fast Moving Consumer Good Industries
- Familiarity with customer base (VETs) and working knowledge of recommendation model is a strong plus.
- Fluent in both English & Bahasa Melayu (Knowledge of local dialects would be added advantage)
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel
- At least 2 years working experience in FMCG/ Medical/ Pharmaceutical's environment
- Strong commercial and business acumen with good negotiation skills
- An interest in pets / nutrition would be a plus
- Possess valid driver's license. Willing to travel
