Perdana Veterinary Centre is looking for a dedicatedVeterinary Assistant or Nurseto join our dynamic and well-established team inDamansara Perdana. Thisfull-time roleoffers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering top-quality care to our furry patients and exceptional support to their owners.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist the veterinarian in patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
- Perform basic laboratory work (e.g., fecal analysis, urinalysis, blood tests)
- Handle front desk duties on rotational basis with other VA such as appointment scheduling, client reception, billing, stock take, record keeping and phone inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, treatment rooms, and cages
- Monitor patients before and after surgery
- Administer prescribed medications under veterinarian supervision
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and transactions
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with Kreloses is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related discipline
- 12 years of hands-on experience in a veterinary assistant/nurse/technician role, ideally in a small animal clinic
- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply, on the job training will be provided
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Kind, patient, and confident in handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Proficient in managing clinical documentation and inventory systems
- Willingness to grow through continuous learning and development
