JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Employee is expected to assist in execution of corporate finance transaction which involve:
- Ascertain reasonable and consistency of corporate finance transaction with market-based principles and regulatory requirements;
- Able to solve problems or issues arising from jobs with minimal supervision from Team Leader;
- Provision of financial advice to the clients;
- Due diligence review of transactions;
- Review of announcements, circulars, submissions and offering documents relating to the corporate finance transactions;
- Co-ordination of other professionals involved in the corporate finance transactions;
- Liaise with regulators on the processing of submissions relating to the jobs; and
- Supervision and monitoring of progress of subordinates;
- Liaise with relevant business units with the Bank to ensure compliance with relevant internal compliance / liaise with relevant regulatory authority on submission, incl to address queries and requests for information/clarification / liaise with clients & other professionals on all aspects of the work in progress.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies from an institution by the recognized Government of Malaysia;
- Minimum four (4) years of working experience in corporate advisory/accounting/auditing/finance;
- Experienced in the area of mergers and acquisition, listings, securities issues and corporate finance transactions is essential;
- Holder of CMSRL for at least 3 years;
- Good understanding of the rules, regulations and guidelines issued by SC, Bursa Securities, BNM and MITI and other guidelines relevant to corporate finance matters is essential.
