Location: MTDC HQ, Kuala Lumpur

Division: Investment Business Division (IBD)

Are you ready to drive strategic investments in Malaysia's fast-growing innovation ecosystem Join MTDC as a Vice President II and take a leadership role in identifying high-potential startups, managing multi-million ringgit funds, and maximising long-term returns.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the investment process from deal sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and execution.
• Monitor and engage with investee companies to ensure growth, compliance, and return on investment.
• Support fundraising initiatives and build relationships with potential investors and financial institutions.
• Contribute to exit strategies and ensure timely returns aligned with MTDC's goals.
• Represent MTDC at industry events, ministries, and with stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred).
• More than 10 years of experience in investment, venture capital, or fund management.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in managing large funds and investment portfolios is a plus.
