Vice President, Trade Product Manager

About the Opportunity

A leading international bank with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Vice President, Trade Product Manager to join its Transaction Banking team in Singapore.

This role offers the opportunity to drive trade finance product strategy, commercialization initiatives, and product development across multiple APAC markets while working closely with regional stakeholders and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and rollout of trade finance products across APAC markets.
• Support regional branches and subsidiaries in product implementation, transaction execution, and commercialization initiatives.
• Drive business growth for both Documentary Trade and Open Account Trade solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance product competitiveness and client experience.
• Develop and maintain product materials, training guides, and marketing collateral for internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to support trade finance business initiatives and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, technology, compliance, and regional management to deliver strategic objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple countries within a matrix organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience within Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, or related areas.
• Proven experience in Trade Product Management, preferably within an international or regional banking environment.
• Strong understanding of trade finance products, including Documentary Trade and Open Account Trade solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively within a matrix management structure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging data to drive business decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and analytical tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
