Job Summary:
This role is for a Game Video Editor responsible for end-to-end video production, including editing game trailers, long-form videos, and marketing shorts, and optimizing content for various platforms. The position also involves leveraging AI tools to enhance production efficiency and establish AI-generated asset management protocols. Additionally, the Game Video Editor will analyze video performance metrics and conduct competitive intelligence to refine editing strategies and identify AI technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Video Production
- Execute full-cycle editing for game trailers, narrative long-form videos, and performance marketing shorts, covering scripting implementation asset processing color grading sound design final delivery
- Reformat content for platform-specific optimization (e.g., vertical adaptation for TikTok/Reels, trending BGM integration for Bilibili/YouTube)
2. AI Tool Innovation
- Leverage cutting-edge AI generation tools (e.g., automated rotoscoping, AI voice synthesis, procedural asset generation) to enhance production efficiency
- Pioneer novel AIGC applications in gaming videos and establish AI-generated asset management protocols
3. Data-Driven Optimization
- Analyze video performance metrics (VCR, CTR, conversion rate) to refine editing strategies using AI trend prediction tools
- Conduct competitive intelligence on industry creative materials to identify replicable AI technical solutions
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Film Production, Digital Media, or Animation Design
- 3+ years professional experience in video editing (preferably gaming relevant) with demonstrable portfolio (including long/short-form samples)
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Priority given to candidates with proven AI tool expertise (e.g., RunwayML/Pika for video generation, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, or Stable Diffusion for asset creation)
- Deep gaming literacy (proficiency in mainstream genres: MOBA/SLG/open-world)
- Advanced visual storytelling skills with precise control over pacing, color grading, and sound design
- Strong awareness of platform-specific content trends (TikTok/YouTube/Instagram).
- Familiarity with streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Discord) and social media trends.
- Resilience under tight production deadlines
- Must be bilingual speaking, reading and writing in English and Chinese languages.
