Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, corporate environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, creative, and confident with quick turnarounds from same-day edits for events to polished corporate and social media content. A strong portfolio that showcases versatility across corporate, events, and social media formats is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a wide range of videos including:
- Corporate and brand storytelling videos
- Event highlights and same-day edits
- Fast-paced social media content (short-form and long-form)
- Apply basic motion graphics for openers, titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
- Collaborate closely with producers, creatives, and clients to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Manage post-production workflow in line with cloud-based collaboration systems.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of storytelling, pacing, and technical quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during editing.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional editing experience, preferably in corporate and event video production.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across corporate videos, event coverage, and social media content.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics).
- Experience working in cloud-based workflows.
- Ability to handle fast-paced turnarounds, including same-day event edits.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of colour correction and sound design basics.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
- Experience collaborating with production teams across Singapore and Malaysia.
Recruitment Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a 1.5-hour interview session, which will include:
- An editing test (hands-on practical assignment)
- A short knowledge and technical Q&A session
