Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Malaysia for a Video Producer. The Video Producer will oversee the end-to-end video production process, managing tasks such as planning and developing creative concepts, supervising filming activities, and ensuring high-quality post-production. This role includes collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver engaging visual content that meets project goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee film projects from concept development to final delivery
- Manage production schedules, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate with directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, and crew
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and vendors
- Secure locations, permits, talent, and production logistics
- Supervise post-production workflow including editing, sound, colour, and delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to creative standards
- Support content development, including ideation and creative planning
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience as a Producer in film, TV or digital media
- Expertise in Video Production, including planning, concept development, and on-site filming
- Well-versed in working in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of production workflows, budgeting, and scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and leadership skills on set and off set
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Basic video editing knowledge is a plus
