Videographer , Photographer , Content Creator

Octagon Media Sendirian Berhad is a video production company based in Malaysia. We work with brands to produce commercials, branded content, and social media videos across different platforms.

We're currently looking for a Senior Videographer / Photographer / Video Editor / Content Creator to join our team in Kota Damansara.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being behind the camera and understands visual storytelling. You will be involved in the full production process from planning and shooting to editing the final video. Occasionally, the role also involves photography work for campaigns or social media content.

Salary

RM3,800 RM4,800 (depending on experience)

• ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute video shoots for commercial and social media projects
• Operate cameras, lighting, and basic audio equipment
• Manage shoots on set and ensure footage is captured properly
• Edit videos for advertisements, campaigns, and social media platforms
• Handle basic photography when required for campaigns or content
• Edit photos using Adobe Lightroom or similar software
• Work closely with the creative team on ideas and storytelling
• Ensure the final visuals meet the client's and brand's requirements
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Requirements35 years of experience in videography, video production, or content creation
• Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and shooting workflow
• Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut
• Basic photography skills and experience editing photos with Adobe Lightroom
• Experience handling professional cameras and production equipment
• Good sense of visual storytelling and content pacing
• Able to work independently and manage projects

Experience with commercial videos or social media content will be an advantage.
