ROLE OBJECTIVES
- Drive the creation of compelling visual content through expert video editing and storytelling.
- Produce high-quality video and photographic assets that align with the brand's visual identity and marketing goals.
- Manage the full production lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on post-production, motion graphics implementation, and asset refinement.
- Collaborate with the creative team to transform scripts and concepts into polished, professional media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Post-Production & Editing (Primary Focus)
- Video Editing: Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and corporate communications using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar).
- Motion Graphics: Customize and implement After Effects templates to create professional intros, outros, and lower thirds; design and animate clear, engaging infographics.
- Finishing Touches: Perform color correction, audio balancing, and sound design to ensure broadcast-quality output.
- Photo Editing: Retouch and edit photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for use in digital and print media.
2. Production & Content Creation
- Videography: Operate camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear to shoot high-quality video content for interviews, events, and promotional clips.
- Photography: Conduct photography sessions for product shots, corporate portraits, and events.
- On-Set Management: Direct talent and manage technical setups (lighting/audio) during shoots to ensure the best possible raw material.
3. Pre-Production & Planning
- Script & Storyboard: Review scripts and collaborate with the team to create light storyboards and shot lists, ensuring the visual direction matches the narrative before shooting begins.
- Concept Collaboration: Brainstorm with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that are feasible within budget and timeline constraints.
4. Asset Management
- Organize and archive all video and photo assets, ensuring files are backed up and easily accessible for the wider team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 23 years of proven experience in video editing and videography, preferably in a
- marketing or agency setting.
- Strong Portfolio: Must provide a demo reel or portfolio showcasing: Sharp editing skills (pacing, storytelling), use of motion graphics/infographics (After Effects), professional videography and photography examples.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or other relevant software.
- Solid understanding of production basics: lighting techniques, audio recording, and camera operation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in color grading and audio mixing.
