OVERALL SCOPE OF JOB DESCRIPTION
To plan, organize, direct and coordinate the beach villa associates and resources for efficient, well prepared and profitable service of food and beverage and front office operation in line with the LHW service standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & PERFORMANCE
Financial Responsibilities
- To establish and monitor cost and expense control systems and procedures to achieve operating budget
- To be able to take corrective measures and actions to ensure highest possible profitability
- To maximize revenues through pro-active actions
Guest Service
- To personally verify that guests in their villas are receiving the best possible service available
- To check on standards of services
- To be demanding and critical to service standards as well as hygiene standards.
Product Knowledge
- To constantly verify that the physical product in all aspects is consistent with the department standards
- To periodically inspect the individual villa to ensure cleanliness and well-maintained standards
- To ensure landscaping at beach and surrounding areas are well maintained
General Info
- To ensure that corporate, divisional and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all levels
- To liaise closely with other departments and emphasizes on excellent inter-departmental relations considering other departmental procedures and policies
- To conduct a daily briefing for all the associates and ensure flow of information
Marketing Responsibilities:
- To assist in the preparation of the annual business plan
- To fully understand the market needs of house guests and local market, assisting in the development of product lines and services accordingly
- To be constantly aware of new market trends and activities of competitors, ensuring that his operation is always one step ahead of the competition
Personnel and Training Responsibilities
- To conduct training to increase the knowledge of the staffs
- To give subordinates frequent feedback on their performance and status of development and conduct annual appraisals
- To exercise self-control, patience and be known for his/her fairness at all times
Administrative Responsibilities
- To maintain all hotel records and forms as prescribed by established policies and procedures
- To report the daily operation in log book for future reference
- To ensure all attendance report are submitted within the given deadlines
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge and Skills:
Education:
College degree/diploma preferably specializing in Hotel Management or equivalent is required
Experience:
At least 5 years assistant management experience in a luxury and high-end environment
Skills and Abilities:
Required ability to operate computer equipment/tools and related software/system.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
