Get to know the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic VIP Relationship Manager to own the end-to-end experience of our most valuable clients. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for our VIPs to ensure their success and loyalty within our cryptocurrency trading ecosystem. You will leverage deep market knowledge and data-driven insights to develop personalized strategies that drive engagement, retention, and growth within our high-net-worth user segment.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Manage the end-to-end experience and lifecycle of a portfolio of VIP clients, using a data-driven approach to segment users and develop targeted growth and retention strategies.
  • High-Value Product Sales & AUM Growth: Actively drive key business outcomes, including trading volume and Assets Under Management (AUM), by identifying opportunities to pitch high-value products like OTC desks and staking services.
  • Market & On-Chain Intelligence: Monitor real-time market trends, on-chain data, and competitor VIP offerings (such as fee structures and exclusive services) to proactively identify risks and opportunities for high-net-worth users.
  • Bespoke Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact and dedicated advocate for VIPs, gaining a deep understanding of their trading strategies and pain points to ensure a premium, trusted experience.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all client interactions and onboarding processes align with Hata's compliant platform standards, operating within the regulated frameworks of the Securities Commission Malaysia and Labuan FSA.
  • Cross-Functional Roadmap Influence: Collaborate across departments to communicate VIP feedback and integrate resources, directly influencing the roadmap for VIP-specific features, services, and exclusive events.
  • VIP Program Optimization: Design, implement, and refine the VIP tiered service program to ensure it delivers exceptional value and maintains user loyalty in a highly competitive digital asset market.
  • Engagement & Relationship Cultivation: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships through effective communication and the execution of exclusive online and offline events tailored for the high-net-worth segment.

The Must-Have:

  • Fluent in both English, Malay and Mandarin, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and other financial software.
  • Strong business sense with excellent logical analysis and systematic planning skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to advocate for VIP needs.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role such as Key Account Management, VIP Relationship Management, or Sales within the financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, trading fundamentals (spot, futures, derivatives), DeFi, and the broader digital asset landscape.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for digital assets are welcomed to apply.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administrative, Accounting or a related field.

  • Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech is a plus.
