Position
The position is based in Malaysia. Reporting to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, South East Asia & Australia. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing engaging visual displays and store layouts according to Brand directives for various clients. Daily scope includes planning, organizing and implementing Visual Merchandising activities within Malaysia. This role aims to attract clients, enhance brand image and drives sales through hands on Visual Merchandising skillset.
The Visual Merchandiser will be working closely with our Retail, Merchandising & Regional Visual Merchandising team of FENDI.
Job Responsibilities
Visual Display Planning & Execution
- Provide and support the Malaysia stores in VM presentation
- Collaborate and support the realization of windows display/product guidelines, VM display strategy, new store openings and in-store/external events
- Collaborate with Retail, Merchandising & Regional VM team to ensure that store rotation is in line with our global guidelines & business needs
- Report and provide regular feedback to Retail Manager, Merchandising Team and VM team after each rotation
Brand Identity & Guidelines
- Co-ordinate seasonal schemes/lightbox & promotional activities
- Ensure that the local visual merchandising standards are in line with the global VM guidelines
- Co-ordinate with suppliers and business partners to ensure a smooth execution of window installation or any new campaign images
Budget Management
- Manage the ordering of seasonal and existing props by monitoring closely on budget
Market & Trend Research
- Staying updated on Visual Merchandising trends and techniques
- Competitors photo report per quarter
Training
- Coach client advisors and VM ambassadors on VM guidelines and display maintenance
Profile
- Minimum 3 -5 years of related experience in visual merchandising
- Related Diploma in Art or Visual Communication
- Creative, meticulous and detail oriented
- Able to work independently and the physical ability to handle display elements
- Good organizing and follow up skills
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Proficient in Photoshop and MS office
