Job Title: Vmware Senior Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled VMware Senior Engineer to manage and support enterprise virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, virtualization operations, and infrastructure optimization, along with excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage VMware virtualization environments in production
- Configure and maintain VMware vSphere and vMotion
- Manage virtual machine provisioning, migration, and optimization
- Handle VMware storage integration and virtual networking
- Monitor system performance and perform performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Support data center migration activities (preferred)
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure system stability and availability
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and vMotion
- Expertise in VMware storage and networking integration
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage
- Good technical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data center migration projects
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise or cloud-integrated environments
