Job Description

The primary objectives of the VP Marketing & Communications are to oversee the undertaking of market intelligence and developing demand strategies to drive district placemaking promotions and revenue generation aligned with the corporate vision, mission and strategic goals. This involves in the development, planning and execution of marketing plan, campaigns, promotions, and events that support business goals in acquisition, retention, reactivation, and revenue management. The VP is responsible for full-life cycle of campaign and promotion management and execution and overseeing the revenue generating workstreams, as well as adherence to policies, procedures and protocols to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform market intelligence, feasibility, benchmarking and data analysis to identify opportunities, capture consumer-level and campaign-specific insights and support project and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in developing strategies for promotions and revenue generation of TRX Group's assets such as but not limited to event space, advertising space, and completed assets. Overseen the planning and roll-out of the marketing strategies, including identifying targets, preparing work programme and proposing channels and content.
  • Lead end-to-end RFP process and ensure pricing strategies comply with revenue target. This includes reviewing and evaluation of proposals, performing due diligence, assessing the market and competition.
  • Ensure successful implementation of short -term, medium -term and long-term targets for district placemaking, commercialization and revenue generation aligned with TRX's corporate and financial goals.
  • Establish clear communication channels for progress updates, project status and inter-departmental alignment.
  • Collaborate, co-ordinate and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders in the implementation and promotion programmes.
  • Set, monitor and report revenue performances and forecasts for TRX Group finance.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns via correspondence, content, events and advertisement etc to create leads and demands through the funnel. Optimizing TRX Group's marketing budget for sale and promotional initiatives
  • Lead rollout of TRX Customer Experience surveys to continuously monitor district enhancements and level of service, and work with relevant departments to improve identified areas according to survey outcome.
  • Coordinate improvement efforts with internal departments and District Management, and track improvement measures and subsequent performance for management reporting
  • Commercialization support for corporate and project requirements including liaising with development requirements and project needs
  • Monetization of new avenues to boost revenue and support company's investment and income strategies
  • Internal and external stakeholder management to achieve departmental and enterprise goals, including being district management, authorities and plot liaison.
  • Perform day-to-day activities of the marketing and communications functions including but not limited to, coordination with internal departments and members of TRX Branding Council, administration pertaining to finance procedures and approval requirements according to TRX's Limit of Authorities, executing support work for internal clients and external stakeholders.
  • Support events coordination and execution, including for district activation programs, corporate and IFC events, community engagement functions and others.
  • Support the execution of any other functions according to requirements of the departmental goals and enterprise goals, with an understanding of organisational vision and operations beyond individual tasks.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing and/or Asset Development and Management.
  2. Minimum 10 years solid hands-on experience in business strategy, advertising, business development, retail and leasing, and marketing
  3. High level of integrity, ability to multi-task, result-oriented, strong analytical skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  4. Strong project management and facilitation expertise, with effective stakeholder management skills and appealing interpersonal skills
  5. Operations driven, strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, and great negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
