Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse and Logistic Manager at Pecca Group Berhad in Kepong, WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse and logistic operations, manage inventory, ensure efficient supply chain management, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of logistics and warehouse professionals.
- Communicate with internal and external customer for goods order/return as well as delivery or collection plan.
- Oversee on-time day-to-day delivery plan to partner premises to avoid penalty charges.
- Responsible for end-to-end distribution operations which covers inbound, storage, replenishment plan, inventory control, and order fulfillment within agreeable SLA.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for logistics and warehouse operations in alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Responsible for end-to-end logistics process, including route management, and driver rotation plan.
- Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements to improve overall efficiency such reporting using Power BI and know how to operate Transport Management System (TMS)
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Effectively manage budgets for logistics and warehouse operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce overall operational costs which covers logistics and warehouse.
- Ensure that goods are handled, stored, and transported in compliance with quality standards.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between logistics, warehouse, and other relevant departments.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on key performance metrics, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics and warehouse processes.
- Prepare and verify the monthly claim for Touch n Go, Diesel, etc. for the purpose of claiming finance.
- To closely monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, road tax renewals, and inspection bookings with Puspakom.
- Responsible for end-to-end distribution operations which covers inbound, storage, replenishment plan, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Implement best practices for warehouse layout, organization, and space utilization.
- Maintain stock accuracy and carry out monthly cycle count (Finished Goods & Trolley / Box).
- Liaise with internal department (Production/Quality Control/Packing/Planning/ Shipping/Sales and Marketing) for customer order fulfillment and customer return.
- Ensuring all live system and accurate posting/documents (Goods Receiving, Delivery Order and etc).
- Maintaining proper paperwork for internal department (Finance/Production) daily submission, traceability, and internal and external audits.
- Maintain live system and review system transaction.
- Perform invoice reconciliation with diesel supplier for chargeable amount against actual purchases by drivers, and for other purchases such as GPS invoice and actual spending on vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain and organize storage area and lorry including 5S.
- Carry out any ad-hoc task assign by superior.
Job requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations, customs clearance, and Incoterms.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to drive productivity and maintain a cohesive team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking to optimize supply chain processes.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.

Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
