Job Scope: Warehouse PackerPosition Summary:
The Warehouse Packer is responsible for preparing, packing, and labeling goods accurately and efficiently to ensure timely and safe delivery to customers. The role involves handling products with care, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and following company standards and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing & Preparing Orders
- Pack, wrap, and label products according to order requirements.
- Ensure items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify accuracy of items against order lists or invoices before packing.
- Handling & Organizing Goods
- Pick items from shelves or storage areas based on order slips.
- Sort, organize, and arrange goods neatly in the packing area.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods when required.
- Quality & Safety Compliance
- Inspect products for damages, defects, or discrepancies before packing.
- Follow warehouse safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately.
- Documentation & System Updates
- Complete order checklists, packing slips, and labels accurately.
- Update records in the warehouse system (manual or digital).
- Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and packing area.
- Ensure packing tools, materials, and equipment are kept in good condition.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent (preferred).
- Basic reading, writing, and counting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting.
- Team player with a responsible and positive attitude.
