Warehouse Manager
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and outbound shipping to support production and customer delivery requirements.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage strategies to improve efficiency, space utilization, and operational safety.
- Control and monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory, ensuring inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and reduction of excess or obsolete stock.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality teams to support manufacturing schedules and on-time shipment targets.
- Establish, review, and continuously improve warehouse SOPs, work instructions, and management systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, stock turnover, picking accuracy, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity, and drive improvement initiatives.
- Lead warehouse digitalization and automation initiatives, including WMS, SAP integration, barcode/RFID systems, and warehouse automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, 5S, and security standards within warehouse operations.
- Manage warehouse manpower planning, performance management, training, and development of warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Coordinate with IT and relevant departments on system enhancements, equipment readiness, and operational support related to warehouse and logistics operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management within electronics manufacturing, EMS, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM/WM (or EWM) and related ERP/WMS systems; familiarity with MES is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of warehouse automation systems, material handling equipment, and logistics process optimization.
- Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, including raw materials, PCBA components, and finished goods.
- At least 3 years of people management experience leading warehouse teams or supervisors.
- Experience working in similar EMS/manufacturing groups will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
