Nature and Scope
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by coordinating activities, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role emphasizes accurate inventory management, timely delivery, and adherence to safety and operational standards. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment while collaborating with internal teams to meet customer and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Assist the Branch Manager in planning and executing daily warehouse activities.
- Check and verify all incoming goods consigned to Kimgres, ensuring proper documentation and condition of items.
- Delegate delivery orders for picking and verify the accuracy of physical goods against orders.
- Oversee the loading of deliveries and shipments, ensuring correct quantities, safe handling, and adherence to delivery schedules.
2. Inventory Management
- Ensure all orders are accurately picked, packed, and labelled according to customer requirements and timelines.
- Record all delivery orders in a logbook and promptly report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to the Branch Manager, along with proposed corrective actions.
- Monitor and document forklift daily checklists, diesel consumption, and the usage of stretch films to manage resources effectively.
3. Customer Support
- Collaborate with Kimgres operations and sales teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure that delivery standards align with customer expectations to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
4. Safety and Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and ensure ease of access to products.
- Enforce regular housekeeping routines to keep the warehouse free from clutter, safety hazards, and damage risks.
- Ensure a safe workflow during operations by adhering to and enforcing safety protocols and guidelines

5. Additional Responsibilities
- Carry out any other tasks or assignments as directed by the Branch Manager, or Management to support overall warehouse operations.
