About the role
As a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator at Nestl Malaysia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and responsible management of the company's water treatment operations. This full-time position, based at our facility in Shah Alam, Selangor, will see you contributing to Nestls commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and monitor the waste water treatment plant to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and Nestls high standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the plant equipment
- Collect and analyse water samples to ensure water quality meets required standards
- Maintain detailed records and logs of plant operations
- Collaborate with the broader manufacturing team to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies and innovations in waste water treatment
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in water/wastewater treatment or a related technical discipline:
- SPM + 3 years working experience in IETS field OR
- SKM lvl3/ Polytechnic Cert + 1 years working experience in IETS field OR
- Diploma/ Degree Science or Engineering no working experience in IETS field needed
- 2-3 yearsexperience as a waste water treatment plant operator
- Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes, equipment and environmental regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve operational issues
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
