Job Purpose
To analyze investments and borrowers creditworthiness to determine their potential risk for investors and lender.
Accountabilities
List the responsibilities that must be achieved and major activities that are to be carried out to achieve the key result areas: -
- Conduct assessment and review of credit application submitted by Business Units and make appropriate recommendation for relevant approving authorities approval.
- Assess creditworthiness of individuals, companies, and institutions.
- Identify and highlight key and inherent risks not initially identified in credit applications.
- Make recommendations about increasing, adjusting, extending, pr closing lines of credits.
- Ensure that credit risk measures and profiles align with the Bank's credit standards and policies.
- Proactively identify deterioration in credit quality and conduct timely impairment assessments.
- Communicate credit decisions and policies to employees and applications.
- Oversee or undertake documents preparation
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments and relief duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications And Experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOUR
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Preferred: Professional qualification from Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia/ Certified Credit Executive
Possess a minimum of 2 years direct experience in credit, or relevant experience in banking and financial services
Skills and Knowledge
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
Effective presentation skills
Proactive and able to work independently
