The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Web Application Developer to build our web application to meet our clients requirements and needs to serve customers in APAC.
We welcome Team Players with a positive attitude who can communicate well in English and Mandarin (preferable). We also welcome fresh graduates who are eager to learn.
Be a part of a new team that will build a new end-to-end Digital Platform to enable new distribution models. The platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
- Optimise, maintain, and improve database systems.
- Ensuring the development of well-designed, testable, and reusable code.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues by deploying updates/ fixes.
- Tuning SQL statements, optimizing stored procedures and analyzing query plans.
Required Skill(s):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- Working experience with database fundamentals, data modelling and optimization.
- Experience in developing web applications using HTML, PHP(Laravel), MySQL (RDBMS), Javascript (Framework: struts), CSS, Python.
- Required knowledge of Firebase, and Firestore.
- Experience in conducting unit testing in both PHP and React.
- Familiarity on front-end development with React/Vue/Svelte.
- It would be beneficial to have experience in windows and Lunix (Basic commands).
- It would be beneficial to have experience in mobile applications (Android & iOS).
- Able to communicate well in English and Mandarin (preferable).
