Job Title: Developer - Web

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to support Digital Banking initiatives within the Retail Banking domain. The role involves development, enhancement, and support of Digital Bank / Infinity Digital Banking platforms. The candidate will contribute to both project delivery and L3 production support, working in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web and mobile-enabled applications for Digital Banking platforms.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment.
  • Develop front-end components using React JS, React Native, JavaScript, CSS, and JSP.
  • Build and maintain backend services using J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Camel (CXF).
  • Work with Oracle databases for query development, performance tuning, and data validation.
  • Support WebLogic Portal and TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS) implementations.
  • Perform Unix scripting for deployment and batch processing tasks.
  • Provide L3 production support including issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
  • Participate in DevOps processes including CI/CD activities and automated deployments.
  • Prepare technical documentation and management reports as required.

  • Experience Level: Junior (L1 - Less than 3 years)

    Required Skills:

  • Less than 3 years of experience in web application development.
  • Strong knowledge of J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with React JS and/or React Native.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic Portal and middleware integration using Camel (CXF).
  • Experience working with Oracle databases.
  • Basic Unix scripting knowledge.
  • Experience working in HPUX, Linux, or Solaris environments.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to Digital Banking or Retail Banking platforms (e.g., Infinity Digital Banking).
  • Knowledge of TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS).
  • Experience in management reporting and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment as L3 Support Developer.
