Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welder Ark located in Bintulu. The Welder Ark will be responsible for executing various welding tasks including arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding. The role includes preparing and maintaining welding equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols. The individual will work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
- Experience with general welding practices and techniques
- Knowledge of various materials used in welding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Awareness of safety standards and protocols related to welding
- Relevant certifications in welding techniques and methodologies is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding is preferred
