Job Purpose:
- Work closely with the Welding & Project Coordination (WPC) Engineer / Senior Welding & Project Coordination (SWPC) Engineer, will be in charge of the project support for all documentation, procurement, and subcontracting scopes for activities managed by the WCI Department.
- Department's core group and technical personnel for supporting bidding / tendering, junior engineers / GMT development, and other departments if needed.
Key Accountabilities:
- Issue the Scope of Works, Requisitions Order to project SCM for Welding, NDT, FJC, general firing line items, welding consumables, welding gas, ECA, mechanical and corrosion testing.
- Issue the TBE for Welding, NDT, FJC, general firing line items, welding consumables, welding gas, ECA, mechanical and corrosion testing.
- Manage the project documentation issuance related to Welding, NDT, FJC, ECA, mechanical and corrosion testing activities including qualification register for welders, NDT technicians.
- Consolidating project quality documentations for issuance and distribution, related to Welding, NDT, FJC, ECA, mechanical and corrosion testing activities including qualification register for welders, NDT technicians.
- Maintain the Project Document Register and reporting of document status consistent with project or departmental requirements.
- Monitor Project Welder Register and WPS Register together with the WPC Engineers / SWPC Engineers.
- Prepare the cost control summary for the project activities under the WCI Department.
- Input project progress data for the project weekly / monthly report if needed.
- Support and participate in tendering, KOM and progress meeting if needed.
- Governance of document control in assuring proper documentation records and/or updating.
- Participate in the WCI Department objectives to meet KPIs.
- Collect and prepare the review of the lesson learns from project for BPLL.
- Responsible for proper storage of the project documentation in the WCI share drive.
Qualifications / Certifications:
- Degree in any engineering discipline (welding or mechanical or materials or metallurgy) is preferable.
- 2 5 minimum years of working experience in project support activities
- Experience in the field of Welding, NDT, FJC, mechanical tests in industry, line pipe and fitting manufacturing, inspection, preferably in Oil & Gas, onshore and offshore pipeline installation and offshore structure installation is a plus.
- Experience in Project Document Control Management, procurement process, audit process, quality management.
