Job Description

The Manager Wholesale (Vans) is responsible for driving sales growth and brand presence across key markets and channels in Southeast Asia. The role focuses on expanding Vans market share through strategic account management, effective sell-in and sell-through strategies, and strong cross-functional collaboration. The incumbent will manage key wholesale partners, identify new opportunities, and ensure GMG's business objectives are achieved through disciplined execution and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive wholesale sales performance across assigned markets and categories, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market and seasonal sales strategies aligned with Vans brand direction and business goals.
  • Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring strong relationships, optimal assortments, and exceptional customer service.
  • Identify new market opportunities and distribution partners to expand Vans presence in the region.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely product delivery, accurate forecasting, and effective in-store execution.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to inform future assortment and sales planning.
  • Conduct seasonal business reviews and ensure compliance with reporting timelines.
  • Lead and develop the sales team to strengthen market knowledge, negotiation capability, and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 810 years experience in wholesale or account management, ideally within sports, lifestyle, or footwear brands
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, account planning, and brand positioning within the sports and streetwear segments.
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive sell-in/sell-through performance.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
