Wintel engineer

Wintel Engineer responsible for the support, implementation, maintenance of Windows and Intel-based server environments. This role involves managing server hardware, operating systems, and associated applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security in Aeon Credit

Support and maintain Windows-based systems. Include Active Directory, Exchange, File & Print, DNS, DHCP, and Windows related system server.

Monitor Windows server performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software.

Plan, implement, and oversee IT projects related to Wintel systems, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Plan for server preventive maintenance, implement patching and updates.

Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures related to Wintel systems.

Support system project implementation related to Wintel systems, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to Wintel systems in the financial sector.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).

3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments and Intel-based hardware.

Experience with Intel-based server hardware and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Redhat Virtualization).

Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.

Understanding of network configurations and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.

Understand financial sector system environment is a plus.
