Job Description

We're Hiring: SME Wintel Specialist

Location: Cyberjaya

Contract: 1 Year extendable

Industry: Banking

We are looking for an experienced SME Wintel Specialist to support enterprise-level Windows and VMware infrastructure for a leading banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure & support Windows Server 2016/2019 (physical & virtual)
  • Manage VMware ESXi & vSphere 7.0, including vCenter operations
  • Implement server clustering, HA & failover testing
  • Perform OS patching, system hardening & security compliance reviews
  • Troubleshoot system performance & configuration issues
  • Install & configure compliance/security tools (Trend Micro, SSH Tectia, HPSA, Nimsoft, NTP, Log Warehouse, HP Data Protector)
  • Perform basic vSphere admin tasks (vMotion, RDM, datastore, snapshots)
  • Support Data Centre setup & infrastructure logistics

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Windows Server administration & troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Failover Cluster & Veritas InfoScale
  • Experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vSAN & VMware Replication
  • Hands-on exposure to SSL, IIS, system hardening & scripting
  • Able to provide design, sizing & architecture recommendations
  • Experience in enterprise / banking environments is an advantage
