Responsibilities
In-House Factory
- Perform control panel wiring & assembly (device mounting, wiring, termination, ferruling, crimping)
- Route, dress, secure, and label cables neatly to workmanship standards
- Prepare labels using CNC engraving machine (where applicable)
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot basic electrical/electronic components and panel assemblies
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality assurance
- Perform other duties given
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools/equipment and maintain tidy work practices (5S)
Site Work / Installation & Retrofit (50% travel)
- Install/mount panels on-site and support retrofit / upgrading works
- Pull and lay multicore / communication cables in trenches, cable cellars, and cable risers
- Support engineers during testing/commissioning activities
- Supervise/coordinate other wiremen on-site when required
- Prepare materials/tools before mobilization and support site housekeeping and safety practices
- Perform other duties given
Requirement
- Minimum qualification: SPM / SKM (Sijil Kemahiran) or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience as a wireman (panel wiring and/or site installation)
- Able to understand and follow schematics and technical drawings
- Good hands-on skill with manual and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting is an advantage
- PW Wireman license is an advantage (not mandatory)
