Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of Workday integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and HR business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate, and Workday APIs.
  • Integrate Workday with other enterprise platforms, including data warehouses, security systems, and middleware.
  • Ensure data integrity and secure data exchange across all systems.
  • Create and execute test plans, troubleshoot integration issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor system performance, build dashboards, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure all integrations comply with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Maintain technical documentation and establish best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
  • Continuously assess and improve the integration architecture for scalability and performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 812 years of experience in enterprise integrations, with a focus on Workday.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and large-scale integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Workday certification (Integration or related modules) preferred.
Technical Skills & Tools

Integration Tools:

  • Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate
  • Workday APIs and PECI for payroll integration

Web Services & APIs:

  • Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT
  • Experience designing and managing APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI

Middleware Platforms:

  • MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM Integration Bus (preferred)

Programming & Scripting:

  • Java, Python, C#, JavaScript

Data & Cloud:

  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • ETL tools and processes
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Security & Version Control:

  • Understanding of SSO, authentication protocols, and secure data transfer
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices
