Workshop Coordinator (QC & Safety)

Job Responsibilities

1. To assist the Workshop Engineer and Storekeeper on their daily job basis.
2. To check and maintain sufficient min stock level for tools and consumable.
3. To ensure all workshop equipment are in good operating condition and preventive maintenance are well carried out.
4. To carry out weldment inspection, dimension check, quantity and quality check for fabricated products as per requirement specified in the code & standard and design drawings; and to feedback to workshop engineer & design department.
5. To qualify new welding procedure for pressure vessel construction by arranging necessary test including weld test, non-destructive and destructive test. To generate and maintain WPS and PQR as guideline for pressure vessel construction.
6. To qualify new welder for pressure vessel construction by arranging weld test and non-destructive test. To generate and record WPQ for each welder qualified.
7. To check and maintain qualification on each welder by frequently record in continuity performance record/logbook, for each process and type qualified.
8. To ensure measuring equipment are maintained in valid calibration annually.
9. To arrange and coordinate inter-department & inspection parties for quality inspection (radiography test / JKKP / 3rd party).
10. To arrange and schedule yearly factory audit inspection with DOSH Selangor.
11. To liaise with 3rd party pertaining to workers application/renewal of working permit, hostel rental and arrangement, medical check-up, etc.
12. To maintain & upkeep the workshop safety and tidiness with compliance to OSHA and 5S.
13. To prepare, arrange and coordinate any event, training, documentation pertaining to safety and health matter.
14. To act as first-aider upon any emergency or health matter.
15. To assist & advice workshop engineer and safety committee on any safety, health & environment issues arise.
16. To receive & dispatch delivery in the absence of the storekeeper.
17. Other related instruction from direct superior.

Requirement:

1. Minimum qualification is Bachelor's degree.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. 1 year of relevant experience.
4. Microsoft Office, Autocad, BOFA systems, Welding Inspection.
