Senior Marketing Executive – Brand Communications & Copy

Location: Kota Damansara, Selangor

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive – Brand Communications & Copy to lead our messaging, copy quality, and customer-facing communication.

In this role, you will do more than write copy from a brief. You will work closely with our Campaign, Creative, and Content teams to figure out the best message angle, build a clear message hierarchy, and ensure our brand speaks clearly, persuasively, and consistently across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Campaign Messaging: Translate brand and product direction into clear headlines, key messages, and calls to action that guide customers effectively.
Copywriting Across Channels: Write, edit, and review copy for campaigns, social content, product launches, e-commerce pages, PR, packaging inserts, and landing pages.
Product Communication: Simplify complex product features, ingredients, and technical details into easy-to-understand customer benefits.
Campaign Collaboration: Work with Campaign Marketing early in the planning stage to decide on the strongest communication angles and message hierarchy.
Communication Briefs: Write clear briefs for the Creative and Content teams before design work begins, ensuring visuals align with the intended message.
Quality & Consistency: Review marketing materials for clarity and tone, ensuring our brand voice remains consistent and easy to read.

What Success Looks Like

Products and campaigns launch with clear, high-impact messages right from the start.
Customers can quickly understand what we offer without feeling overwhelmed by technical details.
Creative and Content teams receive clear messaging briefs before creating visual assets.
Brand language stays consistent across all customer touchpoints.

Requirements

Experience: Background in brand communications, marketing communications, copywriting, product marketing, or related marketing roles for consumer brands.
Language Skills: Strong command of written English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to write natural, persuasive consumer copy (not literal translations).
Messaging Strategy: Ability to prioritize key details, simplify complex information, and decide what information to highlight or remove.
Technical Translation: Skilled at turning complex specs or ingredients into clear, accurate customer benefits.
Collaboration: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment alongside campaign managers, designers, and content creators.

Portfolio Requirement

(Note: Required only if you are selected for an interview)

If selected, you will be asked to share a portfolio that demonstrates the strategy and thinking behind your work, not just final copy. Relevant examples include campaign messaging, product launches, creative briefs, or before-and-after messaging improvements.
