Account Executive

We are seeking for a meticulous, proactive, and dependable Accounts Executive to join our Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to manage full sets of accounts apart from Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable as well as General Ledger (GL).
• Process vendor invoices, staff expense claims, and disbursement payments in compliance with company internal controls.
• Issue customer tax invoices, statements of accounts (SOA), and support follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Meticulous in posting accounts payable (AP) entries to system including checking, validation and assurance of accurate invoice data.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing schedules.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Maintain proper filing systems documentation, and digital audit trails.
• Capable to provide back-up to the Account Manager on ad-hoc basis.
• Support inventory, fixed asset tracking, or stock count reconciliation where applicable.
• Be able to assist in system integration, workflow automation, or ad-hoc finance administrative tasks as assigned by the Account Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience. (Candidate with more experience may be considered for a Senior role).
• Great understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local corporate tax/GST regulations.
• Detail-oriented, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface effectively with vendors, auditors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage tight closing deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity.
