Job Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records for all properties, including transaction entries, reconciliations, invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare financial reports such as P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and property performance analyses (occupancy, rental income, expenses).
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by working with property managers to prepare budgets, monitor performance, and explain variances.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial queries and discrepancies.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and support the adoption of digital tools to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of working experience in Accounting role, preferably in property or real estate sector.
  • Professional certification such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Proven experience in real estate or property accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
