About the Company
A fast-growing technology-driven company specializing in high-value electronic solutions is looking for a hands-on Accountant to join their Kuala Lumpur team. With strong international exposure and a rapidly expanding client base, the business operates at the forefront of advanced electronic distribution and integrated IT solutions across regional markets.
This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior leadership. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to grow into a future leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Handle month-end and year-end closing, including financial reporting
- Oversee Accounts Receivable & Payable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and international stakeholders
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning activities
- Support management with financial insights and ad-hoc analysis
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience with full set exposure
- Mandarin-speaking (to liaise with regional stakeholders)
- Experience in trading, electronics, or IT-related industries is an added advantage
- Professional certification (ACCA / CPA / MIA) is a plus
- Strong sense of ownership, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
