Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, based in Cyberjaya. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, maintaining proper records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. The role requires close collaboration with clients to provide financial analysis, assist in budgeting, and support decision-making processes. Additional responsibilities include handling tax filings and reviewing financial data for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and payroll management
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QNE or similar, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Thorough understanding of taxation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to clients and team members
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are an advantage
• Prior experience in accounting or auditing is preferred but not mandatory
