About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Barentz PC(M) Sdn. Bhd.

This full-time position is based in Puchong area and will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial accounting and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statement
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Performing financial month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Participating in forecasting and budget planning
  • Providing financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives as required

About You

  • Possess minimum Diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • Over 5 years of experiences in a tax, finance or accounting role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong technical skills in financial accounting
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications, preferably familiar with ERP Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
