Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Sibu. The Accountant will oversee and manage financial transactions, prepare financial statements, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, liaising with auditors, analyzing financial data for decision-making, and performing reconciliations to ensure accurate financial management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparation of financial statements
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and audit procedures
• Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and analytical skills for effective financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Good communication and organizational skills to coordinate with teams and external auditors
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar accounting role preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
