AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI and machine learning models to address business needs.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered applications, APIs, and automation solutions into existing systems.
• Work with large datasets to perform data preprocessing, analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Explore and implement generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and other AI technologies where applicable.
• Optimise AI models and applications for performance, scalability, accuracy, and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain deployed AI models and applications.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with data security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, model performance reports, and implementation guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or software development.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, databases, and software development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
