Unlock your potential with Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in Scientific Software Engineering as a APAC Medidata Accounts Payable Specialist in Selangor, Malaysia!

The Accounts Payable (AP) team plays a vital role in the IF WE OPTIMIZE macro process by ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. Additionally, AP is responsible for managing Supplier Account Reconciliation & Closing, as well as handling supplier claims and litigation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Invoice Processing & Controls: Ensure accurate recording and timely payment of supplier invoices in accordance with internal control procedures.
  • AP Ledger Management: Record vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable subledger, ensuring proper approvals are obtained as per policy.
  • Process Compliance: Implement all required procedures related to the Group's Purchase-to-Pay process.
  • Month-End Closing: Coordinate with the FP&A team to close expenses in line with planning schedules and Group accounting principles.
  • Supplier Payments: Execute supplier payments accurately and on time.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Account Analysis: Regularly analyze supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Aged Balance Management: Monitor and manage aged balances, including both due and not-yet-due invoices, to maintain healthy payables aging.

Qualifications:

  • Education Bachelor's Degree (4 years), preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience 0 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience in ERP systems preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in working with internal and external customers/suppliers
  • Key Competencies & Skills
  • Quick learner and self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to thrive in a paperless, high-volume, and fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation abilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive attitude with a strong focus on driving results
