Area Sales Manager

What awaits you:

  • You are responsible to secure and expand local and regional customer relations and business activities through prospecting and networking.
  • You must execute regular customer visits to build up strong customer relationships.
  • You are required to present technical product information and carry out trainings for customers, agents and other co-workers.
  • You are expected to provide support for the preparation of quotations.
  • You carry out project and quotation tracking via constant follow-up.
  • You monitor complaint management for the designated countries.
  • You must lead in the organizational and delivery of customer sales events.
  • You generate regular reports (e.g. visit reports, market & customer information, forecast)
  • Last but not least, you are expected to maintain close cooperation with MR international sales, other MR subsidiaries and agents.

What you bring to the table:

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • You must have a minimum 5-year sales experience preferable in the power transmission and distribution field.
  • You have a strong ability to build stakeholder relationships, comprehend discussions at all corporate department levels and to identify the unique motivations to augment our solutions.
  • You are able to identify and articulate the unique value proposition of our products and services using a compelling command of value-based sales concepts. Addressing specific customer pain points and deliver economic benefits and solutions.
  • You know how to conduct thorough research on prospects before sales calls to understand their company, industry, and background.
  • You must be a self-starter, motivated, strong drive to achieve sales target, knows how to work effectively with customers, agents and co-workers.
  • You must be good in numerical understanding, accuracy & integrity.
  • You must be able to work independently, flexible and in tight deadlines.
  • You must be willing to travel frequently locally & overseas.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Computer Skills: MS Office, knowledge of SAP & Salesforce would be an advantage.
