Your Role at VTMarkets
The Senior Art Director is the second-in-command to the Creative Director, responsible for driving visual excellence, brand consistency, and creative quality across all touchpoints. This role combines hands-on creative direction with people leadership, nurturing a multidisciplinary team across graphic design, video, motion, and UI/UX. This role plays a critical part in translating brand and business strategy into compelling visual storytelling across campaigns, platforms, and products.

Job Requirements


Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in visual design, art direction, or creative leadership
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Strong branding and visual identity experience across channels
  • Demonstrated expertise in video, motion, and animation, in addition to graphic design
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and digital product design
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch ideas effectively to stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fast-paced in-house or agency environments.
  • Exposure to fintech, tech, or product-led organizations.
  • Experience scaling creative systems across markets.

Job Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Brand Direction
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Head of Brand to define and execute the brand's visual direction.
  • Ensure strong, consistent brand expression across branding, campaigns, digital platforms, and product experiences.
  • Lead creative development from concept to execution across static, motion, and interactive formats.
Hands-on Art Direction (Graphics, Video & Motion)
Provide art direction and creative guidance across:
  • Graphic design and key visuals.
  • Video storytelling, motion design, and animation.
  • UI/UX and digital interfaces.
  • Review, elevate, and refine creative work to ensure high visual craft and clarity.
  • Step in to direct or execute design, video, or motion work when required.
People Leadership & Creative Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop designers, motion artists, video creatives, and UI/UX talent.
  • Foster a strong creative culture focused on craft, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide team growth through coaching, feedback, and career development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Growth, and Content teams to deliver integrated creative solutions.
  • Partner with product and UX teams to align visual design with usability and experience standards.
  • Present creative concepts and rationale clearly to senior stakeholders.
Creative Operations & Quality Control
  • Support the Creative Director in maintaining creative standards, workflows, and delivery quality.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on brief, and to a consistently high creative bar.
  • Balance creative ambition with speed, scalability, and business needs.
