Job Description
WERE HIRING: AS400 DEVELOPER
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Experience: 2-5 Years
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Open to Malaysian candidates only
We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer to join a team within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance and maintain AS400-based backend applications.
Perform code debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system issues.
Conduct application testing and support SIT/UAT.
Prepare technical documentation for system changes and deployment.
Participate in Scrum activities and track tasks using JIRA.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field.
2–4 years of hands-on experience with AS400/IBM System i or RPG/RPGLE/CL.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience writing SQL queries to retrieve and investigate database records.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
