Duties And Responsibilities
The role requires close collaboration with HODs and stakeholders on finance and accounting matters, including participation in annual external audits, company tax, secretarial compliance, and month-end management closing. Strong communication and technical accounting skills are essential, with the ability to influence change through collaboration and expertise rather than formal authority.
Summary of Principal Job Responsibility & Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as Finance and accounting business partner with project activation Lead, supply chain and commercial finance team to ensure efficient correct recording and analysis of entries for the entities.
- Provide Pre and Post analysis for projects / new initiatives covering quantitative and qualitative.
- Review Balance Sheet Schedules, Revenue and OPEX
- Lead in accounting system (Quickbook) liaise with service provider . Ultimately taking the role as Administrator
- Gatekeeper for Company SOP ( Finance related ) to ensure 100% compliance.
- Manage all vendors and clients and intercompany cross charges.
- Oversee / issues of PO to all vendors when require via Manual and / or MAD System
- Review and validation (Audit, Tax, Company Secretarial s & other supporting roles required).
- Ad Hoc assignment
Academic Qualification (s)
Candidates must possess at least Graduate in ACCA / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
Work Experience / Skills Requirement(s)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Full Set of Accounting
- Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
- Need to possess an analytical mindset, strong business acumen, be matured and independent, strong communication skill
