This role is suited for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real financial operations in a growing investment group.
The Role
- You'll support in managing day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis across the group.
- This role focuses on execution, accuracy, and support - ensuring financial information is timely, reliable, and well-structured to support decision-making.
- You'll work closely with internal teams, external accountants, auditors, banks, and service providers while developing a strong understanding of private equity-style financial management.
What You'll Do
Financial reporting and analysis support
- Assist in preparing financial reports, management accounts, and basic forecasts
- Support analysis of financial performance and variances
- Help maintain clear, accurate financial records across entities
Cash flow and operational finance support
- Track cash flow movements and assist with cash flow monitoring
- Support payment processing, receipts, and reconciliations
- Help ensure efficient use of financial resources
Compliance and documentation
- Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory filings
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax agents
- Support preparation of documentation required by banks and authorities
Departmental and process support
- Assist in maintaining finance policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Manage and support the executive in improving financial workflows and reporting processes
- Help ensure deadlines and reporting timelines are met
Hands-on business support
- Prepare supporting schedules, summaries, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required
- Assist with budgeting exercises and financial planning initiatives
- Contribute to finance-related projects as the group grows
Who You Are
- 2-4 years experience in finance, accounting, or a related role
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and spreadsheets
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic financial reporting
- Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable
- Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and external parties
- Willing to learn, take guidance, and grow into increased responsibility over time
Extra Credits
- Experience supporting a Finance Manager or Head of Finance
- Experience leading a junior team
- Exposure to private equity, investment firms, or multi-entity structures
- Familiarity with basic financial modelling or forecasting
- Experience dealing with auditors, banks, or tax agents
- Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
