Job Description

PARTS SALES

  • Responsible for the parts sales of the prime and associated equipment at department level.
  • Responsible for meeting department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on parts sales, inventory movement and profitability.
  • To ensure success of parts and service merchandising campaigns by Head Office such as lubricants, filters, engine parts and CVA (Customer Value Agreement) campaigns.
  • Responsible to manage and develop the PSS (Parts and Service Sales) & team members to meet challenges in market environment through coaching, problem solving, training and strategizing.
  • Ensure execution of parts sales and administration are carried out according to the policy and guideline set by Head Office.
  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring maximum customers coverage.
  • Responsible to develop, maintain and promote corporate market image through customers satisfaction.
  • To submit and update Head Office on competitive activities and recommend / take appropriate remedial action to protect / improve DCAL (Dealer's Customer Acceptance Level).
  • Responsible to ensure coordination and cooperation between departments at branch, inter-branch and Head Office in respect of product support.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining good contact and relationship with both internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for managing PSS (Parts and Service Sales) debts to management requirement as set in the KPIs.
  • Assist the Head Office in drawing up the yearly product support business plan.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Responsible to administer all company's asset and comply to finance division instruction and guidelines.
  • Responsible for managing department variable expenses so as to be profitable and also meeting department profitability KPI.
  • Responsible for coordination and preparation budget and CERF.
  • To execute all procurement related activities in compliance to Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Group Procurement Policies and Authorities (GPA) and also SD Industrials Procurement Standard Operating Procedures (Procurement SOPs).

The job holder is not confined or exclusive to the above mentioned key responsibilities and may be required to perform other duties as and when required by the immediate superior and / or Management of Heavy Equipment Division due to business expansions or requirements.
