Job Purpose
To support Management and Heads of Department in financial planning, performance monitoring and operational finance activities for:
- Recurring income portfolios (new business segment); and
- Property development projects (core business)
The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting to support business decision-making and strengthen financial governance across all business units.
Job Responsibilities
Business Planning & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets and monitor actual performance against budget.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
- Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
Recurring Income Portfolio
- Support financial monitoring of recurring income projects including revenue, operating costs and cash flow.
- Review cash flow projections and feasibility studies from operations team.
- Assist in evaluating project returns, yield and financial sustainability.
Property Development Finance Support
- Assist in budgeting and financial monitoring of development projects.
- Support project cost tracking and cash flow planning.
- Attend to finance-related queries from project operations, strategy and internal stakeholders.
Commercial & Operational Support
- Provide financial input to Marketing and Business teams for pricing proposals and operational decisions.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Review system adequacy and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support internal controls, audit requirements and financial governance.
Requirements
Education
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 36 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance or business planning.
- Exposure to property development and/or recurring income business is preferred.
- Partial or full professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MICPA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Good understanding of P&L, budgeting and cash flow management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple business units.
