Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: -

  • Prepare internal credit ratings and conduct credit reviews.
  • Perform comprehensive and timely credit risk assessments for SME and Corporate applications for the platform.
  • Recommending risk mitigation strategies to support informed credit decisions while safeguarding the platform.
  • Develop and prepare the Platform's credit policies, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines, balancing business growth with prudent risk management.
  • Support enhancements to the Platform's credit and risk management framework, including policy updates, process improvements, and system upgrades.
  • Respond promptly to requests from Sales / Business Lead within agreed turnaround times.
  • Collaborate with Sales / Business Lead to identify and mitigate credit risks; serve as a key advisor on credit structuring and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to Sales / Business Lead to strengthen credit quality and risk awareness.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Senior Management.

Qualifications: -

  • Bachelor degree in banking, accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of banking/ financial institution experience in credit analysis or loan origination.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and Senior Management.
  • Strong credit analytical skills and sound business acumen.
