Job Summary:-
We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking finance professional to join our financial reporting team. This role requires someone who goes beyond the basics - taking ownership, driving improvements, and adapting quickly in a dynamic environment. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes and deliver strategic value.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Own the financial reporting process end-to-end, including General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, financial accounting, direct tax, and transfer pricing (with advisory support from UT Tax).
- Ensure timely and accurate closure of monthly financial reports, including: Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts; Sub-ledger and source system reconciliations; Accounting for accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset management.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, location P&L, and annual statutory financial statements.
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and Group Tax, ensuring compliance and smooth audits.
- Drive process improvements and support ad hoc projects, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain strong governance while identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation in reporting processes.
Job Requirements:-
- Relevant accounting qualification or certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA).
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in financial reporting and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
- A mindset that goes beyond compliance - accountable, adaptable, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to think logically, solve problems effectively, and anticipate future needs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and embracing change with agility.
